Global Experience

Sometimes it is not cost effective for a client to exhibit abroad using a UK exhibition contractor's own labour. But can the client afford to go direct to an overseas contractor he has never used before, for that all important show?
At Access Displays we can offer the best of both worlds.
The client can have his stand designed in the UK, addressing any issues on the spot, while using labour local to the show, through our unique global distributor network.
With huge potential savings in shipping costs, the financial benefits of this approach are obvious. Over the years we have built strong relationships with many overseas exhibition partners. We know their technical capabilities and time scales and how to harness this expertise for the further benefit of our clients.
Example 1
Our client, Nigeria LNG, based in Lagos, had used Access Displays for a number of years as their chosen exhibition contractor throughout Europe and Africa.
Early in 2008 a last minute decision was taken by Nigeria LNG to attend the 'Gastech' show in Bangkok. Given our successful relationship with them, we were approached to design and build their stand. Within days we had developed a design concept and after approval we began discussing the various cost options.
Traditionally the client's preferred choice would have been to use our fabrication facilities in the UK and the usual UK installation team from previous builds. Given the short notice, however, this option would have necessitated transportation by air and a substantial increase in costs. We suggested, therefore, that the most cost effective approach would be to work with our partners local to the venue. They would fabricate and install the stand while the client interface and overall project management would remain with us in the UK, to give the confidence and familiarity the client had enjoyed on previous projects.
This arrangement worked perfectly and upon handover of the stand, a familiar face was there to greet them and ensure that the high levels of quality and service, they had come to expect from Access Displays, were maintained.
Example 2
Our client was looking to attend an exhibition in Australia, but was unsure of the best way to proceed. Our solution was to design and build his stand using hire equipment from our stock. The stand was then pre-built, photographed and the images, together with full working drawings, were forwarded to our exhibition contractor in Sydney.
The client had elected to fly his own equipment over, so it made sense to consolidate the stand components with the shipment.
The consignment, which arrived in Sydney a week before the client, was collected and the stand completed without a hitch. When the client flew in he was met at the airport by our contractor and given a guided tour of the city, before being taken to the show!
