Case Study - OCEAN Independence
Show: Monaco Boat Show
Venue: Quayside Monaco, 24-27 September 2008
Space: Double decked 6m x 6m, within tented structure
Committed to exhibiting at the event, OCEAN Independence had been let down by a number of contractors, associated with the
show, and time was running out! A contact from former client, Cavendish White (now incorporated within OCEAN Independence),
suggested they call Access Displays for help.
From that initial "can you help" call on 27th August, a design was
agreed, the stand built in house and logistics to Monaco organised, in time for loading and shipment on 17th September!
Given the time scale, a lengthy telephone brief was taken, where the client expressed a desire to move away from the traditional product and service led stand designs, favoured by many of their competitors. In contrast an inviting, 'Designer Brand' style, showroom environment was envisaged, to complement the launch of the company's new corporate identity.
Pitch:To create the desired look and feel of the stand, sophisticated lighting effects were suggested, combined with clever use of wall textures and the client's new colour palette. A contemporary furniture style was recommended, with prominent and clear graphics providing visitor information throughout.
Result:The Access installation team overcame various, unforeseen, on-site problems, to produce a high quality, visually stunning stand
on two levels, which was fully appreciated by the client:
"Dear Access boys, thank you so much for
all your wonderful help and good humour. We had a great show, thanks to you.
I really do appreciate how hard everyone worked and the end result was absolutely great."
